What exactly is Hinglish, and why do normal subtitle tools struggle with it?
Hinglish is Hindi and English mixed in the same sentence, written in Roman script. Generic tools transcribe against a single language model, so mixed sentences confuse them. DesiCaptions transcribes the mix as one language, which is why the output stays clean.
Can I get the subtitles in Devanagari instead?
Yes. Hinglish mode always writes Roman script, so even a 100% Hindi video comes out as "aaj hum banayenge". If you want Devanagari, choose Hindi (Devanagari) and the same video comes out in Hindi letters, with English words turned into their everyday Hindi and brand names kept as they are.
How accurate is it?
